On Saturday, December 30, 2023, at approximately 4:13 a.m., officers responded to the 2000 block of DeKruif Court in reference to a shooting. Upon their arrival, officers discovered Lamount Fagan, a 43-year-old male, who had sustained a gunshot wound and subsequently pronounced deceased at the scene.
This is an ongoing investigation; therefore, no additional details will be disclosed to safeguard the integrity of this investigation.

Through the course of the investigation, detectives identified Carman Johnson, 32, and Cameron Johnson, 24, as the subjects involved in a homicide that occurred on Saturday, December 30, 2023. On Thursday, February 22, 2024, detectives charged both individuals with murder, attempted murder, and shooting into an occupied vehicle.
