MOBILE POLICE DEPARTMENT Calgary Drive Homicide Investigation

On Monday, September 7, 2026, at approximately 9:19 p.m., officers responded to the 8300 block of Calgary Drive in reference to a shooting. Upon arrival, officers discovered a male subject deceased with a fatal gunshot wound inside of the home.
Upon further investigation, officers discovered a male homeowner shot the subject after he broke a window and unlawfully entered the home The deceased subject has been identified as David Lee, Jr., 37.
The case will now be turned over to the Mobile County District Attorney’s Office.
