In Operation Safe Streets, the Mobile Police Department Narcotics and Vice Unit conducted a four-month operation involving 19 people being arrested. The operation took place in the area of the Third Precinct. Of the number of people arrested, eight were targets. A total of nine search warrants were executed. Notable seizures include: 400 grams (14.1 oz.) of analog marijuana, 1 gram of heroin, 1.5 grams of fentanyl, 71 grams (2.5 oz.) of crack cocaine, and 2 firearms (1 stolen).
