On Wednesday, August 5, 2026, at approximately 12:45 a.m., officers responded to a shooting in the 1200 block of Glen Acres Drive. Upon arrival, officers discovered a female victim deceased near the roadway with a fatal gunshot injury.
Upon further investigation, officers discovered a known male subject shot the victim during a domestic incident. He was identified and located a short time later.
Wesley Moody, 34, was then arrested and transported to Metro Jail.
The victim’s name will be released once next of kin has been notified.
