On Tuesday, March 14, 2023, at approximately 9:16 p.m., officers responded to a report of a shooting in the 2000 block of Northwest Drive. Upon arrival, officers found Cedric Lynch, 27, inside a vehicle with a gunshot wound; Mr. Lynch was pronounced deceased on the scene.
This is an active homicide investigation. Therefore, to protect the integrity of the investigation, no further details will be released at this time.

***Update***
Lacedrick Davis, 18, was arrested and charged on Tuesday, June 20, 2023, concerning a shooting incident on the 2000 block of Northwest Drive. Davis is now facing charges of murder, shooting into an occupied vehicle, and burglary.
