On Wednesday, October 4, 2023, at 11:04 p.m., officers responded to 600 South Washington Avenue, Brookley Pointe Apartments, in reference to a male victim who had sustained a gunshot wound. Upon arrival, they discovered 29-year-old Leon Curtis IV, who had been pronounced deceased.
This is an active investigation, and no additional details will be released at this time to protect the integrity of the investigation.
