On Friday, March 18, 2022, at approximately 1:36 p.m., Mobile Police officers responded to Cottage Hill and Azalea Road in reference to two individuals shot. Upon arrival, police officers discovered two male victims suffering from gunshot wounds in the vehicle; the victims were pronounced deceased on the scene.
The name of the victims will be released upon notification of the next of kin.
This is an active homicide investigation. Therefore, no additional details will be released at this time to protect the integrity of the investigation.

The victims in the double homicide have been identified as Cameron Montgomery, 19, and a 16-year-old male juvenile.
