Cash Reward Offered As Rickarby Street Shooting Investigations Continue

The Mobile Police Department is offering a cash reward of $2500 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) involved in the recent shootings near Rickarby Park.
“Someone knows more about these shootings than we’re being told, and it’s vital they step up and do the right thing by coming forward with information. Please don’t assume that your tip is too small to matter. Your information could be the missing piece that our investigators need to solve these cases,” said Mobile Police Department Chief William Jackson.
The first shooting on Rickarby Street took place on Wednesday, July 22, 2026, at approximately 11:40 p.m. A home and an innocent female victim were struck by gunfire. The victim continues to recover, and we wish her strength and comfort following this cowardly act of violence.
The second shooting on Rickarby Street occurred on Sunday, September 13, 2026, at approximately 9:00 p.m. Multiple vehicles and a home were struck by gunfire.
“My officers are actively patrolling this area on foot and by vehicle, continuing to speak with residents in the 500 block of Rickarby Street where both of these shootings occurred,” Chief Jackson added.

Confidential tips related to the recent shootings (July 22, 2026 ) or (September 13, 2026) near Rickarby Park may be submitted by calling our non-emergency line at (251)208-7211. Callers will be supplied with a confidential transaction code which will be used to identify the caller for the reward to be paid.
Callers* must be able to provide the transaction code number and follow all instructions provided in order to claim this reward. This reward will only be paid on a tip leading to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) involved in the recent shootings near Rickarby Park.
