Navco Road Homicide Investigation

On Sunday, September 20, 2026, at approximately 2:08 a.m., officers responded to 1441 Navco Road (Poinse’s Lounge) in reference to a shooting. Upon arrival, officers discovered a male victim with a life-threatening gunshot wound. He was transported to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

Upon further investigation, officers discovered a physical altercation occurred in the parking lot between several individuals when a male subject shot the victim. The subject, DelJuan Thomas, 29, was located a short time later and taken into custody without incident. He was arrested and transported to Metro Jail.

The name of the victim will be released once next of kin has been notified.
