The Mobile Police Department and Mobile Fire-Rescue Department will be attending 9/11 remembrance ceremonies and events next week.
On Wednesday, September 10, 2025, Mobile Memorial Gardens will host an annual ceremony beginning at 10:30 a.m. You're asked to use the Nevius Road entrance if you plan to attend.
On Thursday, September 11, 2025, a 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb Challenge will be held at the University of South Alabama's Hancock Whitney Stadium. This is not a race. Participants climb more than 2,000 steps to symbolize the 110 stories of the World Trade Center Towers. Gates open at 5:45 a.m. with the event beginning at 6:00 a.m. This event is open to the public.
On Thursday, September 11, 2025, Blue Mass will be held at 12:00 p.m. at the Cathedral-Basilica of the Immaculate Conception in downtown.
