On Monday, August 7, 2023, at 8:23 p.m., officers responded to an incident at 1966 Wagner Street, Townhouse Square Apartments. Upon arrival, they discovered 30-year-old Malinda Robertson in front of her apartment. She had sustained a fatal gunshot wound and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Mobile Police Department is currently looking for 37-year-old Milton Farris, as he is wanted for questioning in this case. This is an active investigation.

Update:
On Tuesday, August 8, 2023, Milton Farris, 37, was apprehended and taken into custody. He will be charged with murder, shooting into an occupied dwelling, unlawful imprisonment, kidnapping and menacing.
