On Tuesday, June 20, 2023, at 7:58 p.m., officers responded to a shooting incident at 6232 Spanish Trail Drive, Spanish Oaks Inn. Upon arrival, they discovered a 20-year-old male who had sustained a gunshot wound. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The victim's identity will be released once the next of kin has been notified.
This is an active homicide investigation; therefore, no further details will be released to preserve the integrity of the investigation.
