On Sunday, July 27, 2025, at approximately 2:10 a.m., officers responded to 2061 St. Stephens Road (Super Stop) in reference to a shooting. Upon arrival, officers discovered a male subject deceased from a gunshot wound.
Upon further investigation, officers discovered the subject produced a firearm and attempted to rob the victim who was operating a food truck at the location. It was then discovered the victim produced a firearm and shot the subject. The victim was not injured.
This remains an active investigation, and no further information will be released at this time. The victim (subject) has been identified as Charles Patterson III.
