On January 2, 2026, at approximately 2:11 p.m., officers responded to 1729 Katye Street (S&G Grocery) in reference to a shooting. Upon arrival, officers discovered a male victim deceased from a gunshot wound lying outside of the business.
Upon further investigation, officers discovered a male subject walked out of the business and shot the victim before he left the area on foot.
The victim has been identified as Tyron Walker, 46.
The subject, identified as Antonio Finklea, 43, was located, arrested and transported to Metro Jail.
