On Monday, June 15, 2026, at approximately 5:05 p.m., officers responded to the intersection of Gaylark Road N. and Elmwood Drive in reference to a shooting. Upon arrival, officers discovered a male victim deceased from a gunshot injury in the roadway. The name of the deceased individual will not be released until next of kin has been notified.
MPD also continues to investigate a shooting on Sunnyvale Lane W. which remains an active investigation. No further information will be released at this time.
