The Mobile Police Department recognizes Michelle Golston as the Civilian Employee of the Month for January 2023. Golston serves as a community resource officer at the Impound Yard. She is applauded for taking the initiative to quickly gain new knowledge that helped her department run efficiently for the monthly auction.
Golston had to learn how to issue bills of sale. She sought out guidance from experienced personnel in another unit. After which, she was able to issue over 100 bills of sale in three and a half days. Golston processed $80,000 in payments. She was also responsible for entering vehicle information into the state website.
Golston was recently appointed from part-time to full-time employment status. Already, with her dedication and strong work ethic, she has proven to be an asset to the Impound Yard.
