On Tuesday, May 10, 2022, at approximately 6:38 p.m., officers responded to the 2900 block of Steadham Drive in reference to a shooting. Upon arrival, officers discovered Mfundisi Mingo, 46, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to the hospital for life-threatening injuries.
On May 11, 2022, the victim died due to his injuries. This investigation is ongoing. No additional details will be released at this time to protect the integrity of the investigation.

***Update***
Through the course of the investigation, detectives were able to identify Zyione K. Fagin, 20 as the suspect involved. On Friday, May 20, 2022, he was arrested and charged with murder.
