On Wednesday, May 8, 2019 at approximately 7:15 p.m., police responded to the 1400 block of Clover Leaf Circle North in reference to the report of one shot. Upon arrival, officers discovered a male victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to the hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. The investigation is ongoing. The victim is identified as 25-year-old Dejuan Roberson.
UPDATE: On May 24, 2019, Travis Sentell Jones, 39, was identified as the person responsible for the shooting death of Roberson. Jones was subsequently charged with murder and discharging a firearm into an occupied vehicle.
