Forest Park Drive Homicide Investigation

On Tuesday, January 6, 2026, shortly after 12:00 p.m., officers responded to a shooting in the 5400 block of Forest Park Drive. Upon arrival, officers discovered a male victim with a gunshot injury. He was transported to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries a short time later.

Upon further investigation, officers discovered a known male subject shot the male victim during an altercation outside of the home.

The name of the victim will be released once next of kin has been notified.

At this time, no additional information will be released.
