On Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at approximately 2:12 a.m., officers responded to a report of a stabbing in the 5400 block of Forest Park Drive. Upon arrival, officers discovered a male victim deceased inside of the home.
Upon further investigation, officers discovered a known male subject stabbed the victim during a struggle following an argument. The subject, identified as the victim’s son, was transported to a local hospital for minor injuries he received during the altercation. Once released, Justin McGowan, 34, was arrested for Murder and transported to Metro Jail.
The victim has been identified as Ronald McGowan, 57.
