On Monday, August 14, 2023, at approximately 6:39 a.m., officers were dispatched to the 1700 block of Main Street regarding a male victim in need of medical attention. Upon arrival, officers discovered Ulysses Harris, 33, deceased on the side of the road.
The preliminary investigation indicates that Mr. Harris died due to multiple lacerations.
In relation to this incident, Antonio Waters, 29, the victim's cousin, was apprehended at 2600 West I-65 Service Road North, Love's Truck Stop. Waters faces murder charges.
