On Friday, July 10, 2026, at approximately 8:15 p.m., officers responded to the 1000 block of Anders Drive in reference to a shooting. Upon arrival, officers discovered a female with a fatal gunshot injury.
The victim has been identified as Chyna Hickman, 23.
Through the course of the investigation, a subject was identified and located. On Saturday, July 11, 2026, Kanedrea Davis, 29, was arrested and transported to Metro Jail. This remains an active investigation, and no further information will be released at this time.
