PROJECT CARE
Current Scam Advisory
Project CARE (Concerns and Resources for the Elderly) was created by the Chief of Police in 2009 in an effort to bridge the gap between the senior citizen community and law enforcement personnel. It has developed into a unique collaboration between law enforcement agencies, local advocate groups, and faith-based organizations that provides elder fraud prevention, crime protection, and victim support. The program's goal is to empower senior adults by making critical information available through educational literature and community seminars.
For more information or to schedule a speaking engagement, call Lt. Stephanie Smith at 208-1938.
