Starting Salary

The new base starting salary for a City of Mobile police officer is $51,402 plus the following incentives. 

Academy Graduates

$51,402 Base Salary 

+ $1,300 Per Diem

+ $3,272 Built-in Overtime

+ $1,420 Roll Call Pay

= $57,394

*Plus, Educational Incentive Pay for associate degree, bachelor's degree or master's degree starting at 5%.

Benefits include:

• Twenty (20) year retirement at age 55 to a maximum benefit of 72.5 percent of base pay at 30 years
