The Mobile Police Department Crime Prevention Unit is busy planning an exciting new Public Safety Trunk or Treat night. This is a FREE EVENT to the community. It will be held Saturday, October 19, 2019 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Langan Park, 4901 Zeigler Blvd. It promises to be a first-class Halloween event and an excellent opportunity for local businesses to associate themselves with a worthwhile cause.
Public Safety Trunk or Treat will showcase all of Mobile Police Department’s high-tech equipment and the men and women who operate it. Mobile Fire-Rescue and Public Works will be doing the same. You will see your city’s public safety departments firsthand.
There are a total of 80 spots available for businesses to particpate in the Public Safety Trunk or Treat event. The registration deadline is October 12, 2019.
Set up time begins at 1 p.m. and must be complete by 3:30 p.m. No late set up will be permitted.
Children participating in the costume trunk or treat are 3 to 12 years of age. Remember, only unopened treats can be given out. No homemade treats are allowed.
