Saltwater Finaddicts is hosting a "We've Got Your VI" fishing tournament on Saturday, March 23, 2019 at the American Legion on Dauphin Island Parkway as a fundraising event that benefits the family of fallen Officer Sean Tuder. Local fishermen and charter captains are inviting police officers and military officers who do not have a boat to fish on their boats free of charge.
The tournament is open to the public and all proceeds will be donated to Tuder's family. The entry fee is $30.
It's an individual tournament that allows each angler to fish for prizes. The categories are speckled trout, redfish, sheepshead, pompano, white trout and whiting. Rules and registration can be found at www.fishingchaos.com.
