This Veterans Day, the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity and the Boys & Girls Club of South Alabama are cooking out at the Mobile Police Department First Precinct to honor local first responders – those who have served in the United States Armed Forces and now serve and protect our city.
The luncheon is Saturday, Nov. 17, and begins at 11 a.m. and lasts until 4 p.m. All first responders are invited to attend to be honored and thanked for their service.
The Mobile Police Department Office of Strategic Initiatives and partners of Project THRIVE will also be on location to lend a hand to help the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity and Boys & Girls Club of South Alabama show their appreciation.
The First Precinct is located at 850 Virginia Street.
