Mobile Police Make Undercover Drug Operation Arrests

On Wednesday, November 18, 2009 at approximately 3:30 PM, the Mobile Police Department’s Intelligence Unit concluded a drug operation involving undercover law enforcement personnel in the “Midtown” area. During the operation, investigators located and seized approximately 14 ounces of powder cocaine, a bottle of codeine syrup, and $3,640.00 in assorted US currency.

Investigators arrested and charged the following subjects with the listed offenses during this operation:

#1. Timiyas Leroy Taylor, DOB 4/23/1986 (23), 718 Thorrs Avenue, Prichard, AL. 36610- Possession of a Controlled Substance

#2. Kenneth Jamahl Washington, DOB 11/7/1981 (28), 227 Wasson Avenue, Prichard, AL. 36616- Trafficking a Controlled Substance (Cocaine)
